Heleima Resort, Maibakhul, Manipur I

Project Area: 6,596 sq.m or 1.63 Acres

Buildt up Area: 1500 sq.m

Scope of Work: Architecture & Landscape

This being a landscape transformation project, is a part of a resort adjacent to a sports facility and overlooking beautiful paddy fields.

The main concept of this design is to create a recreational and multifunctional setting retaining certain elements of the site. Respecting the hilly location around the site, the design accommodated various activities in various levels on the site.

This space was created as a part of a sports ground. This serves as a multipurpose space for sports enthusiasts who are actually using the sports facilities nearby. This houses a well-manicured multipurpose lawn area, Amphitheatre, Foot Reflexology Pathway, Outdoor Gym, a Café with a deck space, seating areas and a water body.  A vertical trellised space segregates the private from the public here.

This project was designed with the intention of making a sustainable park with water being used from the low-lying water retention point. This served for the year-round water requirements of the park. Also, the undulations in the terrain were made use to give terraced levels along and throughout the site.

Well placed Gazebos, winding water feature interspaced with tiny pause points, well-kept planters, pleasant sculptures, grass mounds, tree plaza, a serpentine cascading waterwall, wooden finish bridge, etc.  add to the richness of this space. All these elements come together beautifully to create a wonderful space for passersby.
